Last summer, I moved my mother from skilled nursing at a 'top notch' facility
in the area to Great Falls Manor. The warm, loving environment and conscientious care began to immediately
improve her health and most importantly, her attitude. Gertrude positively glows now and loves to watch the
wildlife through the windows. Her meals are nutritious and home-cooked. The staff take such personal care
of her, she looks forward to each day, interacting and chatting. The cleanliness and commitment to detail
make Great Falls Manor the perfect environment for your loved one. We had several options but no place could
match the individual attention she receives from Sondra Taylor and her staff. I would be honored to discuss
my satisfaction in detail with prospective residents or their family.

To those interested in knowing of my impressions and experiences of the care, and facilities at
Great Falls Manor Assisted Living. My mother has been there for four and one half months now
and I have seen only very personal care, love and kindness expressed by Mrs. Taylor. She is
constantly attentive to the needs of each person there. Her assistants also show constant
attention to the residents there. The environment is very home oriented with fireplace, outdoor
views of gardens, woodlands, birds and deer. There always seem to be friendly relations between
each resident as well as between other members of her family. Although the current occupants
are aged Mrs. Taylor tries to keep them busy with interesting activities & treats or some other
favorite interest each may have. The meals are all home cooked and very tasty with more than
enough to spare as I have been invited and joined them for dinner several times. Each resident's
medical needs are attended to with precision - whether it be the medications they are to take or
the exercise and physical therapy that have been prescribed. The rooms are always neat and
clean and well organized even when the organizational abilities are lacking in the Residents as in
the case of my mother. Personal hygiene and grooming are also attended to on a regular basis.
The care given and the loving attitudes I have seen would be hard to beat. The location and
home are beautiful and would be a welcome change from any other assisted living experience I
have witnessed. Anyone should feel lucky to find such a pleasant living condition for members of
their family.
Best wishes to those seeking great family care,
Byron P. Dixon, DDS
